Broadly speaking, a single transaction will be considered a single entry.
However, certain anomalies may occur, for e.g. where in-depth inventory management is required, a single transaction may require multiple entries. This will lead to an overall higher number of entries. Certain multiple transactions can be consolidated into one large entry as well, for e.g. interest on Fixed deposits will be received every month but only one or two entries will be passed for them.
If, you buy a certain package and your total number of entries belongs to another bracket, your package may be revised upwards or downwards.
